Obviously, if you own a Shopify store, you’ll want to see the emails your customers are getting. Knowing the content of your email is important because it can drive sales, retention and positive feedback.
How to view individual customer emails
You can view emails from individual customers of their orders on your Shopify store. This will be displayed below the timeline for your order. Here you can see the progress of your transaction. You can see what emails and messages they receive from your store. This is because the emails you send to your customers are based on templates that you have set up on your Shopify store.
How to view notification templates in my Shopify store
There are many notification templates which you can access from your Shopify store. Notifications are triggered by your shop when various events occur, such as: B. New orders. This includes email templates.
- In your Shopify Admin, select Settings > Notifications.
- Find Customer Notifications, then select Customize.
- From here, select the template you wish to view and edit.
Important! Always save a copy in a text editor before editing template code. That way, if something goes wrong, you can easily come back.
You can view and edit notification templates by changing the logo or color scheme for all users. You can edit the content of each email and SMS template individually. When you make changes, you can review and send a test email to see what it looks like. You also have the option of sending emails that customers receive to your own mailbox. This is a great way to keep track of all the emails sent to your customers via Shopify.
