You can upload, manage, and delete files from the Files page in your Shopify admin.
Files on the Files page include the following:
- Images used in your theme
- Images used in blog posts and pages
- Images used in your product and collection descriptions
- Files that you want to make available for customers to download
Your also able to upload files when you’re editing your theme, or in the rich text editor when you are editing theme content, a page, a blog post, a product description, or a collection description.
To access the Files page, go to Settings > Files.

Format requirements
If you have a paid plan on Shopify, you can add all types of files other than HTML.
This is a list of files you can upload if you are on the trial.

- CSS
- GIF
- JPG
- PNG
- JSON
- CSV
Upload a file on the Files page
On the Shopify Files page you can upload files to Shopify.
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Files.

Click Upload files.

Select one or more files to upload, and then click Open.
Edit a file
If you want to make changes to an document or image, use an Edit Software and upload the files again.
Delete a file
You can delete one or more files from the Files page.
Steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Files.

Select the checkbox beside the file that you want to delete. You can select multiple files at once.

Click Delete.

Click Delete to confirm.
